In celebration of National Poetry Month, Four and Twenty is proud to acknowledge the presence of the online poetry community. After all, we’re not the only online poetry journal out there, and the journals presented are just some of the one’s we’re most fond of. The featured online poetry journal of the day is Boiling River.

Have you clicked on: Boiling River

Boiling River welcome all styles of poetry, and encourages their poets to take risks with their writing. Whether free verse or form, take the poem to its limits. “Boiling River” is a translation of an Algonquin word for the Kalamazoo River, describing its constant churning movement. Let your poems follow suit and come bubbling up to the surface from a deep place.
